Orthocem – Light-Curing Orthodontic Cement by FGM
Orthocem is a light-curing, fluoride-releasing orthodontic cement designed for bonding metal and ceramic brackets to enamel. Its optimized viscosity ensures easy bracket placement and prevents excessive flow, simplifying the bonding process.
Key Features:

Indications:
- Bonding metal and ceramic brackets to enamel.
- Suitable for both upper and lower arch bonding.
Application Steps:
- Etching: Apply 37% phosphoric acid (e.g., Condac 37 by FGM) to enamel for 15 seconds, then rinse and dry.
- Adhesive Application: Apply Ambar APS Bond (or another light-curing adhesive) and light-cure for 10 seconds.
- Cement Application: Place Orthocem on the bracket base and position it on the tooth.
- Light-Curing: Cure for 20 seconds per bracket using a light-curing device.
- Final Adjustments: Remove any excess material and proceed with archwire placement.
Packaging: Orthocem is available in a 4g syringe, ensuring easy and precise application.
