Top Dam – Light-Curing Gingival Barrier by FGM

Top Dam is a light-curing resin designed to protect gingival tissues during in-office dental procedures, such as teeth whitening with 35% hydrogen peroxide. It can also serve as an auxiliary sealant in absolute isolation techniques.

Application Steps:

1. Preparation: Dry the gums and teeth in the area to be protected.
2. Application: Apply a thin layer (maximum 1mm) of Top Dam over the gums and gingival papillae to achieve full coverage and an adequate protection field for the intended procedure.
3. Curing: Polymerize the resin using a light-curing device for 20 to 30 seconds. It is recommended to cure shortly after application to prevent any potential irritation.
4. Removal: To remove the product, simply pull it forward.
